What is a Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT)

A Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT) is a paraprofessional who practices under the supervision of a Board-certified behavior analyst. The RBT’s primary work is to put into action the treatment plans created by the supervising behavior analyst.

If you are at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate, you are eligible to take the 40-Hour RBT training course. You don’t need a college degree to become an RBT.
